Haekal Muthahari is a Filmmaker based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
His works has screened at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Student World Impact Film Festival, Lift Off Global Network Sessions, Ganesha Film Festival, and UMN Animation & Film Festival. He has been an Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) awardee, sending him to Olomouc, Czechia for his studies.
Haekal started as an Editor, both offline & online, and a 3D Animator before focusing as a DI Colorist. As a Director, he has made three short films and two 360° experience. His works ranges from fiction films, non-fiction films, animations, music videos, etc.
Other than filmmaking, Haekal was an Assistant Lecturer for Assistant Director & Producer classes in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. He has also managed documentation for organizations, most recently for Palacky University's chapter of IISMA.
